Excessive pressure in radiator, blows water out over flow when engin is first started. Any suggestions?

I had that problem, pulled the cylinder head to replace the head gasket. As I was cleaning the top of the block I noticed the top of one of the sleeves had parted above the ring travel. I was able to remove the piece with my fingers.
