I ve got my second Hd6g home runs awesome will not steer or drive.Im using the one i had to fix this one, Ive got the steering clutches out of both machines and have figured out the problem on the left side of the one i just bought but on the right the problem is in the final drive the shaft that goes into thie final drive(pinion shaft?) just spins any ideas what could be broken inside ?? do these have a tendency to do this??  any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had to replace the big gear inthe final drive one time mine stopped pulling. and it seem like one of the shafts had to be replaced

alot of times the upper gear goes or a bearing goes and takes the gear. drop the bottom cover and look up to see how far you have to go. bearings are sling lubricated and can get dry from sitting.
HD5B, HD5G, (2) FARMALL A's, CUB. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, IGNORE THE LAUGHTER. FLANNEL IS ALWAYS IN STYLE.
