There are people that will say Fram filters are junk . They don't understand, this is a bypass filter system and the back pressure of the filter is most important. The filter will and has worked for many years and does filter out contaminates from the oil that passes through it.

Most Fram full flow filters ARE junk. 30 years ago they were fine filters. They have figured out how to cut manufacturing cost.
The Fram for AC doesn't use the new technology that makes the modern Fram full filter into junk. Gerald J. |

Just my two cents but I buy the filters from Agco. They are priced nice , look really original with the AC on them, and maybe will keep Agco supplying parts for 60++ year old tractors. Ryan

The Fram C159 costs more like $15 at the local farm stores around here. Really gone up in price the last few years.

Boy, you're getting a bargin compared to around here Blake. Another local farm store was $17. Don't understand the discrepancy.

I have seen that with the C159 filters. Prices are all over the map. They have been steadily creeping up on the wholesale side, and I expect some just haven't caught up in repricing. Unless they are maybe buying very large quantities. I try to stock the fram and the hastings. Sometimes I have the baldwins in too.
