Hello, A buddy of mine has a 7g crawler loader that has been sitting for 15 or so years, that he wants to get running. The wiring is a mess, starter solenoid is full of corrosion ect. This has cabling for two batteries, so I believe it originally use 2 - 6volts in series. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Also the turbo is in need of replacement, could anyone suggest a reliable parts source for these machines that will ship to Canada? Thanks again

I think it is 24 volt system. So two 12 volt batteries.

Yep it is a 24volt system. Got her fired up today, she runs pretty decent. Steel hydraulic line under the battery box is rotten and started to leak. Had to shut her down before I got a chance to move it. So once we get that fixed up, I'll try to move her and see how that works out.

What i have done on steel lines is cut a piece of conduct in half so i end up with piece as long as bad spot + couple inches then braze the piece over the worn area , the brass flows inside the steel patch and creates a good solid repair and also a shield against further wear or rot.

The rot is way too long to be able to do that, actually might be able to get away with that on the one that isn't leaking yet. I guess I will see once I get them removed. Thanks for the advice
