Darin you should have no problem going down to 30 inch. Do you have manual for it. If not there on ebay. I just bought a 600 series planter.

i activly use 2 600 planters, one a 8 row and one a 6 row, bother are 30 in, i bought an airchamp on an auction and it will adjust to 30 in. however i bought it for a parts machine for my 600 series, alot of the parts interchange, also i had broken a seed box on my 600 planter, and if you drill the rivets out of the air champ boxes, the seed boxes interchange onto the 600 planters. just have to use small bolts to reattatch them! if there are rolling coulters on the front ahead of the row units, it will be a min till planter, or can still be a convetional till planter....either way!
