wearing a John Deere (gag) shirt. I went to the Pa Farm Show with the SIL, daughter & grandkids this afternoon. Talking to a friend who works the PLA food booth I asked if she knew Morton & a young man wearing a JD shirt says "thats me" He claims it was given to him and he did not know where to get an Allis t-shirt. I said he should have at least turned it inside out if he was going to wear it in public. Is this a probationary offense? He seems like a good kid but I could not let this pass by.  Oh, by the way Tyler, 50 yards north of the PLA booth Outback Toys has an Allis-Chalmers t-shirt hanging up, above the crowd, FOR SALE, If it hadn't been so busy when we came back through I would have pointed it out to you. Nice to put a name with a face, hope we meet again soon...Harvey

Let's have him write "Give me mercy, not justice" on the blackboard 100 times. (real black board and real chalk).  ha ha
Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

I bought a hat along time ago, might have been at a GOTO....

It says......

This is ALLIS CHALMERS country, and on a quiet night you can hear a JOHN DEERE rust!

I recommend this hat to the above offenders!

Hey now!!!

I knew I would find this thread sooner or later. I didn't find it until just now, been busy with fire training all day Saturday and spending time with friends before heading back to college.

NOW, for the EXPLANATION. The shirt was given to me as a gift from one of my mothers city friends. Sadly, when you tell someone that you are into antique tractors, they always assume it has to be a JD.

On the OTHER HAND, I always promised I'd always keep my mouth shut about a YELLOW piece of equipment with John Deere on the side of it at a certain persons place about 40 miles WEST of me, but I guess its time to let the CAT out of the BAG!!!! I was also informed that it was under NEW OWNERSHIP and was NOT at his shop for REPAIR for a CUSTOMER!

Morton - your fire training ought to have taught you that setting a smokey fire elsewhere don't take the focus off the blaze that is right in front of you NOW!!!!
