Finally got around to hooking my tach drive cable up, but it don't spin. When I put the cable into the distro I can't get anything to move. So it's like frozen solid.
Does anybody know where I can get one of those gears? Is it likely to be just that gear or is the drive gear on the distro bad too? Anything else that could be bad I don't know about? Anybody have cool tricks to get that spanner/nut "tachometer coupling" off? |

Is this on a gas 262 engine? If so, gears are bad on distributor shaft (someone didn't grease). Will need to replace shaft - good luck finding one!
