I vaguely remember fixing this issue 30+ years ago on another 185. Oil started running out under steering wheel yesterday. Today when I moved it into the shop there was no oil leak ( probably ran less than 5 minutes. I seriously doubt that that issue can fix itself!🙏🤞
I believe last time I just replaced a seal in the top end of the steering motor. Is this the usual issue or does the whole motor need O-rings and seals?
Thanks in advance for all information and advice..
Joe

My FWA 8010 did that occasionally. Replaced the shaft seal and that took care of it, for now at least.Smile

Same on 8070 and F2 Gleaner. Seal up top seemed to fix them.
