this only happens to me

   went to use my credit card on saturday and it was declined. I thought that was strange. I had not used it since the following week and had not heard from my credit card company that it had not been compromised . didn't think twice about it until last night when i was getting in my truck to leave the office. From across the street a black suv with tinted windows roared into my parking lot, blocking in my truck. Two suited gentleman got out, identified themselves as homeland security agents cornered me and proceeded to question me rather aggressively. Apparently i had set off a watch algorithm .1. traveled to oklahoma  city on friday (I gave a dental lecture) , 2. returned the next day and used a credit listed under requirements of the american patriotic act (never heard of this requirement) as medical/dental to purchase 600 pounds of 20-10-10 fertilizer ,10 gallons of gasoline (in separate purchases ) a tractor battery and an alarm clock. It didn't matter that my dental office is at my f###ing farm and it would be obvious to anyone with a brain why I had made these purchases. And even so, maybe just a drive by would answered the questions. Instead I get the jack booted thugs

	Just goes to show that reality is by far crazier than fiction. Things like that you just can't make up or even imagine. Glad it turned out good for you and you have a true life story to tell for generations. I'd still be recovering from the shock and sleepless night from the thoughts running through my mind and the what could have happened.

	Had to be disturbing but just think, they are out there watching out for us. You could have been one of the bad guys. They are out there.

	Just think, it could have been worse, if ye had called them jack booted thugs. Glad you didn't get a free visit to the crowbar hotel... Now did you tell them that your time was valuable and they could come out and distribute the 600 pounds of fertilizer for you and put the battery in the tractor and dump fuel in the tank too...? mmm, maybe better off not, they might have dumped the fert. in the fuel tank and put the battery in backwards and dumped the gas on the ground requiring you to have the EPA come running out to contain the spilled fuel...

	Actually, the best way to respond to this is... Stay in your vehicle, tell them you are very concerned about your safety. Call 9-1-1 to dispatch a local enforcement officer, advise them that you're being assaulted by two unidentified men in a black vehicle. When the officer arrives, Present your ID, and file an assault charge. Even if they're legitimate, file an assault charge. They may be legit, but this treatment is inappropriate, unprofessional, and entirely contrary to DHS policy and procedure. It's good that they're watching, however, they do not have the right or authority to assault, and when it comes to intradiction, what they've done would blow their entire case, and NOT have resulted in a safe resolution.
	Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.
