    Posted: 08 Mar 2024 at 3:28pm
I recently purchased a 7580, mostly sight unseen. The Fuel tanks are said to be full of rust, but it recently ran off a pail full of diesel fuel. I'm not super familiar with these, and I need to go install my semi- legit fuel nurse tank I built a while back so that the tractor is a bit more reliable and easy to start when my trucker goes to pick it up. My question is, are all the factor lines on these units metal, or are there also rubber hoses between the tank and engine? My nurse tank has 3/8" barb fittings. If it does have rubber hoses, anyone know what size they might be? It is an hour from my house, and it would be nice to be prepared as I'm not sure what's going to available locally for adapters. If I need hose barb adapters, or barb-jic adapters, it would be great to know ahead of time.
Thanks in advance for any help.
