Son just bought another sheet of steel for ribs on his snow plow mgf. It use to be around $450 - then went to $750 a couple month back , now $1300 for a sheet .
He has them laser cut by a specialty shop and price has stayed the same for that but wanted to have a 3/8 plate cut for Heavy Duty plow ribs - $1,700 for the sheet .
2 x 2 square tube has tripled in price also but now a waiting time of 3 weeks for delivery and 1/2 down on order balance on delivery - Oh and delivery charge doubled also .

tadems, he has to raise rates to survive.  He just needs to stay within the price for hauling is going.

No news here, it's been on a continuous rise for the last four years, the tariff plan was a disaster, and lots of smoke and mirrors from domestic steel producers who received a huge gift from it.
