Four trips to town, one broken drill bit but finally made a pass. One grease zerk was missing from the double roller, due to stripped threads, I drilled it out and installed a press in zerk. Don't know how long this unit as sit, but I was pleasantly surprised when it cut like a champ. Now to judge the distance that the end of my bar sticks out would be a plus.

I have side weights, so no noticeable difference. Now
when a big ball of cut grass loads up on the bar, it will pull it to the right
if I don't back up and get rid of it. Sure is handy to cut these steep
terraces, just sit on top and drive my way around.

My 80R has the nine foot bar and I always used it on my WD45. I have all the mounts to hook it to my CA now and am considering hooking it up. I am just curious about your experiences with one on a CA. You say you are having problems judging where the end of your bar is. Does your mower have the swath board on it still? When Dad was still alive I always used my WD45 to mow with when we were haying and I was very pleased with job it did, especially with the nine foot bar. I just worry it may be too much for the CA and a seven foot bar would be better.

We always mowed and baled with the Wd45, and yes, the swath board is on, I just seem to misjudge by about 3-4". I will add, that I have fluid in the rears also. As long as the knives are sharp, you shouldn't have a problem, I have power to spare. One of my CA's, the previous owner had a piece of railroad iron bolted across the front.
