Did they make a manual lift for a c. If they did is there anything that will keep it from working on a b besides the width

Yes they did make a manual lift for both a C and a B.they are quite rare. The hydraulic lift was only a few dollars more. My 43 C had no PTO hand brakes and a manual lift. The hand brakes and manual lift went away back in the 80's. I bought a back half of a C just for the rock shaft,PTO and foot brakes. The rest went to the scrapers better than 30 years ago.

For what reason do you want a manual lift? My C has a Woods manual lift on it now to lift the belly mower. It's a much better design than the allis one was. You could not use the manual lever with foots brakes. It mounted right where the foot brakes are located.

I got a 39 B that is my baby and I don't wanna add the hydraulics to it. I got enough tractors to use so I wanna leave this one the way it came.
