Amonth ago I installed an Allis 140 loader on my D-15. It worked great. Would stay up for hours. 2 weeks ago I wanted to lift a tire & rim, but the loader wouldn't go high enough. I checked fluid and it was low. So I added some and it worked fine. No I didn't check it before with the rams extended. Today it wouldn't lift off of the ground. Check fluid again, none on the dipstick. I checked the power director and it's over full. I guess a seal is leaking between the 2 chambers. It looks like I have to split the tractor at the transmission to get at this. Any advise? Thanks Bob

Are you sure the PD is over full, not the trans.? If the PD is over full then you will have to remove the torque tube to instal the seal, unless a plug has come out between the pump and PD.
 If trans. is over full you will have to remove the rear cover and replace cylinder seals and hose.    MACK

Try disconnecting the hose/tube going to the rear lift arms and capping it off.  If the hose inside is bad, things should work ok without it connected.

The level in the trans is normal. I checked that first.
Mack, Where is the plug you are talking about?
Eldon, I want to use the rear lift for my plow later. Gotta limp through until the plowing is done. Bob

The fluid in the PD was milky, which tells me it had water in it.
As I refilled (overfilled) the Hydraulic compartment, I still had the plug out for the PD area and nothing was leaking. Of course, the tractor was not running. Bob
