Hi ..  I am still getting water in oil with a new head gasket ..
I know in this video ... I should have NEVER hit the sleeve with a hammer ..  it seemed to be okay ..
What I am wondering ..  do the sleeves have rubber O rings/ I put a new head gasket on?  Do the sleeve O rings have anyting to do with coolant/water? https://youtu.be/raf0Z6DzAXU
Above is a video of the block ..  or perhaps the head is warped
thanks
Gary

Once an old sleeve moves the bottom O rings will leak. You can hope with all your heart and they will still leak. I do not know how long it takes however they get hard and will not expand to reseal once the seal is broken after a time. Hitting with a hammer is a no,no but I doubt it caused any damage. The damage causing your leak happened when the sleeve moved.

So many guess about these leaks and there is no reason for it.  Remove the valve cover and oil pan and look for the leak and then fix it.

Watch his video Butch! That kinda takes the guesses out. I don't remember for sure if the core plug leaks were covered on his earlier posts when he had the head removed but I think it was.

After hitting a sleeve a leaking o ring would likely be the culprit. And it ain't going to fix itself. Listen to Dick L, Fred and Butch;

I cringed when I saw that sleeve come popping up.
That hammer is a NO-NO...........you're lucky you didn't split it.
Take a look at Dick's head, with NEW freeze plugs......probably will solve your problem.
