I have a 1940 b and the water pump was seeping water out the seep hole so I have a few other pumps I took off parts motors and both of them seep water even more then first pump. But other then that they work fine. So question is can I replace the seal and how and if so what seal number do I use. Would be cool if I can cause 1951 Ca leaks too.

It is possible for you to do it but it can be challenging.Need a press and select odds and ends to support and or push through in the process.Home made stuff works since you likely don't have "proper tooling". Haven't done one of those so can't say but usually involves pulling fan hub, looking for hidden snap ring in nose and pressing of impeller.Cast impellers can break, housings can break,etc,etc....AND everything has to be pressed back in the correct correlation.Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Look at in agcopartsbooks.com    You can usually buy rebuilt with guarantee for a little more than the kit
