have a 190 xt gas, running fine shutoff to add some hydralic fluid, went to start it and the starter just kinda thumps and fan blade turns about 1/4 turn and thats it.  figure it is the battery but it started fine earlier.  any other ideas?   seems odd batter would go bad that quickly but i guess possible.

thanks!

Worst case...hydro locked.   Coolant in a cylinder
There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE 2. If its FAST & CHEAP it won't be GOOD, if it's GOOD & CHEAP it won't be FAST, and if its GOOD & FAST it won't be CHEAP!!!!

Clean and tighten the battery cables. If that doesn't do the trick check the battery.

I'd put on a set of jumper cables and see if that will start it.
