   Hello , i am tryin to figure out what  AC mower my Dad had years ago .. before he bought our first 461 NH  Haybine .. I WAS way young and cant remember the model #, but we pulled a conditioner behind our D15   Series 2   at the same time we were mowing .. Any ideas on what i am looking for .. I would like to find one like it ....

      If it was "Twin Wheel" drive (belt drive and no wooden pitman arm)
 
   
  If Snap Coupler hitch, it would be a No. 7 
If bracket hitch in place of Drawbar, would be an 80R 
If 3 point hitch, would be an 80R3 
Or if Side Mounted, would be an 80S

   as i remember the sickle mower was out to the side ..like  i said with the conditioner pulled at the drawbar .. our D15  is a snap coupler . did  the unit mount between front and rear  tires ..off to side ?

    Yes 80S mounted on R/H side of tractor beween front and rear tires. 
 Fred according to my Allis Manual No. 7 was also a trail behind type with 2 tires. I thought it was called an 80T.

   If you can find an 82S, you will find the mounting and the lifting systems are much less complicated and there are a few improvements over the 80S; like a heavier (thicker) cut bar and ball bearings at the lifting pivot points.
 
   
  I'm not saying the 80S is not a good mower, just that the 82S is a bit better.
