This neat old piece of equipment showed up at my house today (thanks to DennisA(IL)). I bought it back in March/April from a fellow up in Wisconsin but just haven't had a chance to pick it up yet. Talked with Dennis the other day about a grain head for an all crop combine. Mentioned needing to get this picked up and he said he could deliver both to my house. So Dennis and his wife picked it up yesterday and delivered it here today. Now I just have to figure out how to put it together!

Looks like a good find. I'll always have a soft spot for corn pickers.

I was anxious to get it down here. I'm on a bit of a mission to eventually find all of the equipment (for our area anyway) that would have been used with WD/WD45 tractors. I now have two all crop 60's, a corn picker, four row mounted cultivator, #53 plow. I have found a four row snap coupler planter. I am still looking for a 10'-12' wheeled disc, sickle mower, and eventually a roto baler.

We sure put together enough of them. As you know it is the basic Allis Chalmers Mounted Corn Picker. Fit WC, WD, and WD45. Since we closed in 1962 I think they developed an over the axle picker for a D-17. I saw literature but was not in on any assembly or mounting.
Looks like you have all of the items needed. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck! Bill Long
