Thanks to Bill Long for his input!
I'm wondering if anyone has switched out the splined axles on an older B for then newfangled 5- bolt? Can they be directly replaced or do you need to change out the bull gears and/or entire final drives?

I have a '39 B with a splined adapter to 5 bolt on one side. It has a flatter center than a C dished center. I hope to find another someday. On the front it has one riveted wheel/hub and on the other it looks like they removed the rivets and threaded the holes for small lug bolts.

KEn, the axles are interchangable if you can find one. Same bull gear, same installation. Different hub.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
