I've been meaning to post these pictures, have you guys ever seen a CA modified to look like a smaller version of a D-10? |

I like it but does the seat put you too far towards the steering wheel. Would I be cramped? Love the floor boards, think I might do those myself.

Did he shorten the steering shaft as well....move the steering wheel towards the throttle?

Yes the steering wheel is forward of the original position.

Shifter has been shortenned a bit too, I think.

The steering has been shortend to the steeing post, the distance isn't any closer than sitting on my dad's D-14. The shifter has also been shortened, and when sitting on the tractor is just inside the right leg. I actually think it has improved the feel of the CA, I like the fact that your not sitting as high, and more over and slightly in front of the rear axle. It was very interesting when i looked at it the first time, had to buy just because it's one of a kind.

Well, actually I know of at least two in NE Ohio that were converted 15+ years ago by a friend of my cousin. I have pictures - somewhere. Need to find them and figure out how to post on this "new" site.

Somewhere in the old forum photo archives there were some pictures of a similarly re-enginered Allis B. It looked like it would be very comfortable to drive beside easy to get on and off of. I'm 100% sure it's still around.

We have a CA similar to that , floor boards and all, steering wheel is lower . looks like H S class project. Has decals of dealers in CA Fresno i think. I figured they were making an orchard tractor. Tony
