my d15 originally had a gear driven power steering pump. it was converted to a belt driven.the problem is the frame of my loader wont't allow me to check fluid level unless i loosen brackets, take off the belt and roll the pump inward. i was told the pump might of come off a chev 1/2 ton. does anyone know what other belt driven pump would work .   thanks

If someone has swapped out the oem pump with a chevy pump then you can retro a 6.2 diesel PS pump in that one's place. The 6.2 pumps have a remote mounted reservior tank with a hose that you can mount externally most anywhere you want.
