I've got a line on this AC forklift.  Looked at it today, supposed to be sold at auction but it won't move. Owner said it would back up but not go forward.   Engine looks like a B and runs (propane) and the rig is is generally good condition but the engine hasn't been cleaned in years, covered with oil. Engine oil looks good.  Is owned by a car dealer who just want rid of it but now it's in the auctioneers yard.  Has to be moved to the auction site to sell.  The auctioneer said maybe they would just take a picture of it and sell it that way.  Anyone have an idea what its problem is and a value?  I'm thinking less then $500.

It finally got sold at auction Wed evening.  I'm the new owner.  It does move both forward and back but I'm thinking the brake shoes have broken off the backing plate and jam up against the drum.  Backing up (or going forward) seems to free it up.  The brakes don't work, no real surprise.  Otherwise, it seems to be a good solid machine.  Anyone know if it has a Buda engine or an AC one?
