I have a hd m16 that I bought last year to build ponds with.  It recently blew the seal on the track tensioner for the right side track.  Once I got it tore apart I realized that someone had been there before. It had two odd ball seals stuck on the end of the shaft with a washer welded on the end to hold them on.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a new seal? All of the places around me wont even try to help find the right one.

I needed this thing fixed last week and I am about to the point of just building a threaded style adjuster.

Any advice or input is greatly appreaciated.

Eric

what is your serial #
i might have part #s in my book you can cross with National or Chicago rawhide.

i have not been into the particular area you are working on but i have not had much luck crossing seal or bearing numbers.  you best bet is to measure the shaft and inside diameter where the seal goes and see what your local auto parts can do for you.

good luck

I ended up getting a seal from a hydro repair shop. All the local parts stores and seal places where less then helpfull.  None would listen and kept ordering me regular seals.

Thanks
