I was recently given a AC 5040 and I have oil/water mix coming from an area behind the starter. When I pulled the inspection plates off the bell housing it was filled with this oil water mix....any ideas how or why it would have gotten in there ? I took out one of the bottom 4 bolts underneath the housing and the mix drained out but not sure what to do next about cleaning and removing all the mix from around the clutch/ pressure plate without separating the tractor....any thoughts or suggestions would be appropriated.

Oil and water, or oil and coolant? I'd check the dipstick, or drop the pan, and see what the bottom of the motor looks like first...
