This was back in 08. That is a C drawbar. I have modfied the hitch somewhat last season to shorten the drawbar hitch point closer to the 16 inch minimum distance to the centerline of the axle and raise it up to the max of 20 inches. The drawbar support is now a 3x3 angle used as a suitcase weight bracket.
Because the seat spring base is part of the PTO, I had to fabricate a base on a piece of 1 1/2 x 3 tube stock. The original solid tool bar is now just a piece of pipe.
Getting the power to the track is by way of 13-6 X 24 Firestones

Ken,
Good lookin CA! I'm tryin to build a CA puller and I have a ? for you, when removing the PTO/ hydraulic pump cover, what happens to the PTO shaft? Does it just come out or does one have to manufacture a housing to support it? Also, What motor are you using, a 139 or 160cid or have you built up the 125? don't want specifics unless your willing, just ideas. tks, Dan PS, If you live in Henderson, Ive got Grandkids in Rusk.

I'm running a bone stock 125 in 3500 & 4000 antique farm stock weighted class. Plenty power in first gear. Around here there is no competition in 2500 or 3000. I hate pulling against myself. I had no problem getting down to 2500 with my CA. To get to 3500 I'm running water in the rears with Farmall steel wheels and Farmall wheel weights plus engine side weights. So far I get away with calling it a Farm Stock Puller.

When you pull to PTO assembly from the tractor there is just a stub shaft sticking out. the Cover plate has a dimple about 2 inches in it for the stub. I think I still hacve a factory delete plate some where.

We have a plethora of Farmall C's in 3000 and 3500 around here. Hard to beat those suckers.

Charlie- There is a kid down here with a Super C his grandpa built for him that gives this old CA of mine fits in #3500 class. It is usually either me or him. What really makes me nuts is a chubby little gal on a JD M that knows just how to bounce her rear end to get that extra foot on both of us. lol |
