I have one. There was a picture of three on here tonight. I think that they belong to Buddy Woodson and his brother. One was sold in Washington Kansas. Do not know where it went. Darryl Karuse buddy has two in Washington state. Man in Iowa has one that he talked to me about. Miles Wolfe has two in mid Missouri. That adds up to 10 out of 79 the book says were build. I would like to know of any more that exist.

I question a lot of the numbers of specific things like high crop gas or high crop in general. or diesel narrow front. I spoke with Norm once who wrote the book everyone refers to. Norm told me he did the best with what he had for information. I do not think the Allis records were as complete as say John Deere, they seem to be able to tell you anything about the tractor. Oliver seems to have a good collection of records also. I do not think Allis's records were as complete or at least not as complete as they were by the time the book was written. Alot of the data in the late 1960s show N/A. I guess anyone who dissagress with me can call Allis Chalmers up and see how many were made and where they were shipped to. D-19 high crops are pretty cool. I am sure they make the rare list.

Bob has a Diesel and Propane restored. He also has a gas that he is going to restore early next year. I found the D 19 Propane from Cody in Tennesse about 5 years ago and found his gas in Missouri about 4 years ago.

For most tractor AC did not seperate gas from lp. LP production was counted under GAS

The diesel and LP D19 high crops in the Eagleville show picture belong to me, and I am not Buddy Woodson's brother. That cleared up , on to the question. Norm was able to come up with the production numbers for 1961 thru 1963 on these tractors. The problem is that in 1964 AC didn't record variations anymore, Therefore there is a half year production in 1964 for the D19 that we will never know how many of each type were built. Also for the count , I also have another D19 diesel not running. Ron

Henry. The 19 Gas of Bobs came out of Missouri,but do not know where. I lookede through thr paperwork with his wife Linda and cant find anything. I found it for Bob and it was on the yesterdaystractors site. It has the cane 2 point on it, but painted below the grill shell in block letters it says "LA GROSE MULE" sSo it may of came out of Lousiana. I cant read the serial number on the thing either. Sorry for rambling. He bought it about 4 years ago and paid about $3750 for the thing not running.

Hi guys!
As usual I am getting into the conversation late. Buddy Woodson had at least three d19 high crops. He had a diesel, lp and gas. I know this because I bought the diesel and lp from him and I have seen the gas.
I just finished the restoration on the diesel and displayed it at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. The lp is a basket case and will take some time to restore. Restoring these tractors is about the most fun I have ever had.

Hello, Waking up a 15 year old conversation here, but was curious as to your opnions on the numbers on page 165 in Norms book. The 1962 & 1963 numbers add up to the refrenced 79 units being built on page 98. But page 165 shows 1,315 diesel High Clearance units being built in 1964. I have searched the internet and all I come across is refrence to the 79 units. Naturally if true that would be 1,394 total D19 High Clearance units being built. If this conversation has been held I apologize. Thanks.

I have a D19 highcrop rear housing with the drop axles. Don't know what sn it would be. I bought from a guy years ago just to keep it from going to the scrap yard. Thought I would put me together a D19 but that never happened.

As mentioned above I wonder of the accuracy of some of the numbers in the book. Page 165 is not the only one with numerical or grammatical errors. (This is a simple observation and is not intended as being negative towards Norm.) If you shift the production totals from 1964 over two places to the right, the numbers accurately align with total production numbers that year of D19s and D21s and not production totals of D19 High Clearance or D19 Beachmaster tractors of that year. If one were to have a D19 High Clearance with a serial number from 14945 to 16266 (1964) that would naturally mean there were more than 79 units produced. Of course we are not talking hundreds more but maybe a few dozen more. I am curious of the the serial numbers of your tractors that you all have mentioned? Thanks.
