when removing 840 loader engine , is there something that needs to be unbolted at the flywheel. Does it slide out of a pump drive? how does it drive trans.?

There is nothing to unbolt inside. Support the transmission and just pull the engine out. There is a drive ring on the flywheel that drives torque converter.

Brad in Wa. thank you 4 the info on the 840. I have more questions. the converter seal leaks very bad. will it pull out like a car converter? where might a person find that fiber gear that bolts to the flywhee & also a transmission pump? the valve body shafts also leak. is that a lip seal or do you have to pull the shafts & they have o-rings?

Demo, I'm not sure how the converter comes out, never done that. The fiber drive gear is available from any Minnpar dealer (company in Minneapolis that handles parts for these things). The tansmission control valve shafts use a lip type seal, part #1008507. Hope this helps.
