Awhile back you mentioned home brew split pea soup...….and by golly that put a subliminal message in my brain and ever since then I have had a hankering for some good split pea and ham soup.

Well I begged and pleaded with the little Italian lady here, and she finally got enough peas split (she told me she splits them each by hand 'cause they taste better, that's why it took so long....she's always thinking of me!) and made a big pot of ham and split pea soup.....mmmmmmboy was it !!!!!

Now, the only thing missing was her fantastic home made bread.....she said she didn't have time to get to that! I guess I cant have everything. When she makes bread, all I do is route through the kitchen looking for stuff to put on the bread! I can eat a loaf at a time. It's so good, 'specially when it's warm!
I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
