How much weight do you need on the rear of a 6080 to get traction ? Its got 18.4-34 rears full of fluid,600 lbs of dry weight and still spins helplessly some times ; an old AC dealer told me when they came out ALLIS wasnt quite done with these unbalanced  FIAT machines ; he was 100 % right

Chains will make it almost as good as a MFWD tractor.  Used a 6080 with loader and chains to feed beef cows in not so flat terrain here in Western Wisconsin for 10+years until finally purchased a 6080 with MFWD.  It does do a little better than the 2wd with chains.  NEED CHAINS!

...and if you run chains, don't ABUSE them!Excessive spinning, high speed road travel, etc. You can tear them up and then they can tear you up!Sometimes you have to abuse them a little but just use some common sense.
