Heres a night shot of our K with the two row head. We also have one with 13ft bean head. Would like to find a 10ft rigid head for oats.

Lonn, I know what aluminum all-crop you are talking about. I was at the same auction West of Rochester, and there were all kinds of all-crops, as well as many other brand of combines. I was interested in the 90 but passed on it because of its condition. I found a much better shed kept 90 a year ago. Many of those combines were in very tough shape, but I definately noticed the aluminum 60.

Dad's E in winter/spring 1992 just before we parted it out
My E about 4 years after I bought it. This is spring 1992. It got kicked out of the shed for a few years after this photo and that hurt it's looks some. |

My uncle has run his R40 for two seasons with no troubles. About a 1000 acres split between that and a 1666 Case. But this last fall the R40 did a little extra while the 1666 was down. In the past 2 years the 1666 has sucked up about $25,000 in repairs.

Steve it looks like the grain bin was widened on your F2. About how many bushels will it hold now. I know with our F2 we can't go very far in 250 bpa corn and its full.
