Very cool . Good that he can build machines that fill someones needs. I always thought skid loaders and log chains where post pullers till you hook to one and it trys to pull the pull the skid loader over forward. haha One thing I would wonder with that kind of pulling force depending on the base you are set on you could stuff the machine in the ground if the post doesn't come up.

At present the company is building solar farms and drive the post in - but to remove them the excavator they use needs to dig part of the material away to be abe to pull posts and have access to areas - that is one problem gettign excavator into areas . 
 Evidently they now have a demo solar farm area they need to remove posts from and it's restricted access - so the special puller order . 
 Some of the other specialized equipment also was shipped to Alaska for large oil companies to use on haul roads - side markers both to install and remove those markers , then another unit to cut slots into ICE ROADS to place markers along the routes .
