Just wondering how you folks in the northeast are faring. See on the news that some have no electricity and maybe flooding. Hope all stay safe.
Here in central Ohio it's showing 16 degrees F. right now, some snow and maybe 15-20 mph wind. I'd guess we have had about 5 - 6 in. of snow so far.

Midland TX, today was in the upper 50’s, sunny skies.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

28* here right now and calling for 23* in the morning. I agree, that's cold enough. I used to really hate structure fires when the temp was below 25, especially when we had the old '53 GMC/Pirsch open cab with no heater.

Jeezzee  Hubert, that's like summer almost.  When I first started on the FD, within a month, we had some extra alarms and the WARMEST one was -23.  You couldn't drain the hoses fast enough.  I wondered then why I was being a Fireman....
It's been balmy here up until Christmas eve.  It got down to +3 and a high of 12.  Today was chilly too, with a high of 16.  This is the first of being on the wrong side of 20 for the whole month.  BUT, it has been SO windy that it has felt really cold the last week!  Coke, I HATE WINTER TOO!!!
