OK it's been confirmed by an 80 year old guy who swears a Cockshutt 30 gas engine WILL bolt right into my A-C forklift to replace the Buda diesel that's curently there.
Query. Just what do I have to remove to pull the diesel out? Do I HAVE to remove that big, honkin' chunk of cast that covers up the rad ?? If so just how much does it weigh ?? I ain't got no red S under my shirt anymore !! Seems a shame to buy a tractor ,save the engine and scrap the rest but I have very few options to 'repower' my forklift . Looking for any/all info on what's involved as it does look like a 'messy' job. Jay |
