Wait are you trying to say Shaq is wrong if it costs $80 to fill your tank and if you put $20 in when your tank is half full it’s not full again.

I haven’t watched NBA since the magic bird Jordan days but I do have to watch YouTube clips of Shaq and Barkely on TNT. It is better entertainment than any sports game.

I unfortunately drive gm pickups so since 2012 their junk air vents that plug with dirt after 20k on dirt roads won’t let you fill fuel so I very seldom leave with a full tank. I just fill tell I’m so pizzed off that I quit filling and hopefully I got at least 3/4 ful. Shaq would tell me gm is saving me money.

It's just the way I do things.  Even as a kid, if I needed gas I filled up.  From 1989 - 90, I lived in Dayton, OH.  Lived about 5 miles from work.  Drove until I needed gas, then filled up. Then moved to Athens, OH, lived about 3 miles from work, drove until I filled up.  Moved back to MI.  The first year I was 35 miles from work, the next 9 I was 6 miles from work, now 23.  I drive until I need gas, then fill up.  Only real exception is if I'm taking a trip, I'll top off before I leave.  I rarely drink pop or eat snacks, so what's the point of stopping more than I need to?  I'm the opposite of Shaq math, it's going to cost the same in the end anyway.  To each there own.

I think a lot of people only drive around town on short 10 mile trips... Maybe getting 100 miles a week or less.  At 15-20 MPG they are using 6 gallons.... $25. a week ........... might be all they can afford on a "weekly" basis.

Personally, i am retired and i probably dont drive HALF that much in a week...  I might keep $50-60. in the tank......... put some in every 3 weeks.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I think only guys with 8 foot beds and leaking blue ovals put in that much gas. And top off the oval fluid.

We’ve listened to this none sense long enough. You guys might think you can you can play us but you can’t play Shaq. Let him explain how to fill your car, tell him that he’s wasting time.

If it wasn't for Credit Cards think of the armed robberies that would occur as people would be carrying large amounts of cash to buy gas! Would be like the Old West with a Shotgun Rider to keep the Coach driver from getting his strong box robbed!

You can prepay inside a preset amount with a card.  That'd be nice to have the $$ option right at the pump I guess, though I never mess around with a few dollars personally, when I need gas I fill my tank.  Prepaying inside, if you ask for a fill up, I don't know if it would go past $100 or not at the pump, I sort of guess "NOT" at this point in time.  I just about never do that, unless all the pump readers are out of order!

some things are different ,here north of the 49th !!

you put cc into gas pump
choose amount of $$ you want to spend(10,20 50,100, fill, etc)
CC gets 'approved'
choose gas type
pump shuts off at $$ you selected

side note... a LOT of gas and dash robberies now ! You can pump and NOT pay.
seems stupid to me to allow this, heard that stations usually deduct from employees pay

Bought gas at an Inconvenience Store last week.  Borrowed dad's truck (with the engine size on an emissions sticker on the rad support) because it's much more suitable for towing.  Gassed it up for him, $129 to fill it up.  EXCEPT, pumps are programmed to shut off at $100.  Must be the programmers thought any more than that must be spilling on the ground or something.  So, then the pump won't read your card again, because you just used it, says go see the cashier.  I tell her, with the price of gas, $100 doesn't fill a pickup, that's a dumb limit.  "OH I hear ya!"  Her preprogrammed response to the hundreds of people complaining to her about the price of gas.  I said, I'm not complaining to you about the price of gas, I'm telling you about how your pumps work!  She just looked lost, might as well have just talked to the pump about it.

Vids on YT how these Function, under Hard Throttle Demand (IE At EXCESSIVE Highway Speeds) these rely on the Small GAS ENGINE DIRECTLY and the Electric takes a Rest.  Know of at least ONE idiot whining at a Gas Station as I got off for gas same spot as to his Hybrid eating him out of his wallet, Looked at him straight on and explained, "at 80+mph do not expect ANY machine to give you any economy" then looked at cashier and grinned, explained the Dope passed me and I was doing 80.

Speaking of Russia and fuel prices, here you go, let's see how they're faring.

Go in settings and set play speed to 1.5X, he's just learning English by watching old American movies and speaks slow.

Listen to the part about speed radars, the police cars don't have them anymore they're just overhead along the streets but it's painted on the highway so you know to slow down.LOL
