hows everyone in OK doing.  Has the weather from last week hit any of you.  I was hoping to make it out on storm break, but they pulled most of our guys from Texas and Louisiana up to work.  We had like 600 Transmission poles down, and who knows hoe many distribution poles and wire down.  I seen some pics on our internal website and I seen pics of chain link fences froze solid AND tube farm gates frozen solid across

I spent 2 years at Ft. Sill and we had a couple good ice storms. All the people there from Hawaii and places like that didn't know what to do. They always said if you don't like the weather just wait a minute and it will change.JP

We got 1/2" of ice and 6" of snow, no problems in our area. The worst parts went around us on both sides.

West of Ada.  Over half inch of ice followed by 2-3 inches of snow.  Lost power Friday morning about 7 am, finally got it back Sunday night just to lose it again monday morning, got it back monday evening and was still on when I left on Wednesday.  Generators got a workout.  Last I heard the power is still out in Altus, whole town at one point.  I've got broken limbs all over the place.  Planning a spring bonfire at this point.

   Anthony,

I lead a team of Southern Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers on a chainsaw team.  We have chainsaw units and feeding units in place already.  I will be relieving a team that has been there a week.
Not real sure where I will end up.  I was told to be prepared to go to Altus, but I never know where I am supposed to work until I get there!
That little yellow logo you see on that page means a lot to me.  I've worn it to a lot of places.

I'm a mile and a half into OK. Just about equa-distant from Guymon and Hugoton. 23 miles from each, to be precise. |

I'm in Tulsa we had about a 1/4" ice & some snow.    very few power outages.  I was ready to go after a load of generators for my store but with just a hand full of outages I didnt need to make the trip to Omaha.

I used to go through Alva when I was in school at Stillwater, it's about 2/3 of the way from here to Stillwater.  It's amazing how wide of a loop American Implement swings.  Unruh-Foster at Montezuma used to be the largest JD combine dealer in the country, but I wouldn't be surprised it American Implement hasn't surpassed them since they've taken over Hugoton and several other local dealers.
