Tracy - are they not standard brass flare fittings?  We used off the shelf brass plumbing flare fittings and bent flared brake line to replace the fuel line on my D17 Series IV back in 2006 and it worked great.  Looks original to me.  Mike

Mike, They are inverted flare fittings, but I can't remember what they are called. I have the outside female type now. Looking for a male internal type. Thanks Tracy

Tracy the threads and flare are the same as used on U.S. brake lines,, at least he older ones I am used to. A double flare tool as used on the steel brake  lines wil make for nice leakproof flares on the copper tube but a std tool will due. The modern made fittings such as the 90 pipe to tube fitting for the carburetor may not look like the originals depending on how old the equip is.  NAPA used to have al manner ofsuch and if you still have a REAL hardware store around they will have both types of flare fittings and nuts.

Tracy, the only trouble I have had is getting flares that have the 1/8 MIP end to tie into the sediment bowl or carb. You need to find someone who has a full line of flare/ 1/8 MIP fittings. Glenn

I'd try McMaster Carr. I got aluminum 1/8 inch line and fittings from them for my CA and B. It's been several years ago though.
