I started pulling again this past week (first time in 2 years) and my WD45 is almost exactly 500 lbs likeg. I am pulling in the 4500lb class. I am thinking about making a weight bracket and bolting it to the rock plate to hang some suitcase weights from.  does anybod have ny pictures of their set up? this is on a WD45. I do not want to remove anything from the tractor, so I cant have anything that will interfere with the 3pt hitch. I am just a weekend warior and need to be able to use the tractor during the week. also, what can I expect to pay for weights? say any brand.

I too pull occasionally with a 45.  It is stock and weighs 4000 with me(200#) and 2 - 130# weights.  It is a little lite on the front.  Suggest hanging 2 weights from the frame(mid) and another set on wheels.  I run 18-20in hitch height.

I've got a weight bracket on each side on the front, and I also made a weight bracket to fit into the snap coupler latches on the back.

weight prices in my area are usually a $1 a pound. give or take a little. i also made brackets on each side of the frame mid mount where the frame bolts to bell housing mounts. also made one for front using the bolt holes in the frame, but some clubs dont allow weight past front of tractor so beware of that.
