The daughter in law was driving yesterday and was pulling out of construction site when a truck decided to make a right turn in front of her . Seems she was stopped and waiting for traffic before going straight across the intersection but he decided he would make the right turn from the other left lane.
Ended up ripping the cab mounts and doing a number on the hood and bumper and caving in the drivers door also .

Ouch! Hope she is ok.

Hope she wasn't hurt.  Conway may be looking for a new driver.

She was not hurt but shaken up, truck looks like it might be totaled as cab post on drivers side is bent, firewall bent, floor buckled in cab, front spring perch bent, tire on left gouged .
3 days befor he just replaced the turbo on the DT466 and new radiator, over the winter he just put in new RTO6013 transmission. Loss of income is the big thing right now as it was bringing in $700 a day for him.
He was looking for something to get back to work with and cheapest he found was $55,000 to replace this one, as quad axle trucks are hard to find. Has a 18' aluminum box,so could haul over 18 ton per load and not look like it was loaded.

Good thing it wasn't worse... Tell Conway to bring new dumptruck to his specifications...yea right, that won't happen unless they are benevolent... Find a cab, straighten the perch, put a new wheel on  and get back to work... look for another truck at Richies auctions or Pike auctions... or advertise for one.

I know it would take time but to glider it out may be a cheaper inurance alternative for Conway, while they should pay for a rental while this one is down.
