My dad has a CA with the Pin hitch and uses it to mow (L series belly mower).
He would like to add a rear hitch to be able to pull a wagon or something. What kind of setup can he use?

I had my L59 on the 51 CA for 10 years and always had the drawbar on with the mower. I added about 2 inch wide flat steel to the top of the final drive brackets and put in a set of holes to lower the cross tube. Worked great.
I could probably get a picture for you if you want. The mower is on the B now out in the back shed.

The pin Hitch drawbar will fit with the woods L series mowers. I've had both the L59 and L306 on mine. Mount the draw bar in the low position as showen in your manual and it will fit just under the Woods cross bar. The C drawbar will also fit with the woods mower. it takes the place of the two spacers on the rear cross bar mount.

A C drawbar will work. This is what I did to use my pin hitch drawbar on the CA.

I don't have exact measurements but I took a piece of flat stock the same thickness as the original mount plate and set it on top of the original. I welded some 1/2 inch keystock front and back to stiffen it up. I think the plate I added was 2 inches wide top to bottom. You can see the original mounting holes below where it is mounted now.

Probably lowered the cross tube about 2 inches.

I have the old 3 piece cross tube that will fit a B,C or CA. Looking at Dave's picture, I don't know why I lowered my set-up. There was a reason, I'm sureErmm
I do remember using a floor jack to put the drawbar up the second time I put the mower on.LOL
I do remember now, the cross tube would not fit under the tractor the way it was. I had to lower it to clear the hangy down stuff in the center of the tractor. My old mount would set higher than Dave's picture without the added iron.Big smile
