I want to add a second set of remotes to my D17IV.  Is it something easy to do?  The first set is routed up to the front for the loader.

Thanks,
Greg

Go to salvage yard and buy the parts. Not a big job.  MACK

Adding a valve requires longer threaded rods that hold the stack together.
IIRC, the valve adds 1 1/2".  Best to get them from a 2-valve stack setup (Redi-Rod or All-Thread is not a good choice for this)

And, there's a VERY small spring that goes between the valve bodies.
It pushes on a small poppet check valve.

I added a set to mine many years ago when I put the 500 loader on it. Everyhing was still available from Duetz Allis  (I said it was awhile ago) and it was pretty straight forward. It helped having a parts manual.
