I spoke to some guy a few years ago who said that they made a "cab kit" for the b/c. I'm curious to know if this is true or was he just yanking my chain. If true, anyone have pictures?

There is a picture of a tractor with a cab in Norms book. It never went into production.

According to tractor data, there was a canvas cab avalible for the B aswell. Never seen one though. Allis Chalmers offers a vinyl half cab with an optional top and back through Original Tractor Cab company, but I've never seen one of those either.

TractorData is incorrect, Allis Chalmers did not have a canvas cab as a option. Original Tractor Cab company is an aftermarket company and has no affiliation with Allis Chalmers.

The pic above was a concept cab meaning it never went into production.   Here are some pics of IBs with hard and soft shell cabs.

Here is a pic that is also on an A-C brochure but not a full cab.

Its a shame they never went into production. I think they would have been neat to have one like that.

Incorrect. Original Tractor Cab Co had a contract with Allis Chalmers anf Ford in the 50's, 60's and 70's. The Allis Chalmers Halfcab is the EXACT same designe as the "original" halfbab. The only difference was being vinyl adn having the Allis logo. There is a member here who has one on his 45.

This particular cab would have been hard to get into. You would have to climb over the tire to enter. A rear entrance may have been more practical. It would have been nice to see it in more detail though.

thanks everyone for your follow up on the subject, I have a cab that fits a international b250 it looks it can fit my B the only problems is the doors won't worthy in the wrong place to get on, need to search, what I can find that can fit, I saw a small cab on a Ferguson T20 grey I sure that would fit both tractors around the same size and shape
will let you know if I find success
