I removed the injectors in my 7045. 2 of the copper seals came out with the injectors. 4 left in head. I tried a bent wire, too weak. I ground the edge of a screwdriver to a hook, and removed one. It was pretty stuck, the rest are pretty stubborn. I have never had this problem before, maybe I have been lucky. Any tricks to try, or just keep at it? I wasn't paying attn to which seals came out with injectors, so I have to try to look in hole to see copper.

You need allis chalmers special tool # 91658 It is a long bolt that will screw in the inside of the washer. I can't think of the size off hand, either a 9/16 or 5/8. try it on one you have out to find the size, Thats all I've used for years.

Take a 5/8" bolt, grind the end so it has a bit of a point. Put the bolt into the injector hole, turn the bolt in until you feel it grab the copper washer, and pull it out.

Use a 5/8 fine thread tap. Screw it into copper gasket and pull it out. MACK
