What happened here?  These guys were a strong dealer who just moved into a big new building with a nice expansion.  Was it too big of one with the economy the way it was or something else?

I also heard from a source I believe that the sale of the land at the old shop in Dane fell through because of soil contamination issues..so there, probably, was a source of income that had been counted on that didn't come through.

Can't believe it.  They were always a great A-C dealer with good service.  Haven't visited though since they had the "fire".  REally sounds odd.  They seemed like they had a great operation every time I was there.  Hope it wasn't AGCO who drove the nail in there coffin?!

Looking at the photos, it's another auctioneer who's over his head.  Would be nice to see better camera angle on the machinery and what can you learn about a flex head or what combine it fits from a photo of the reel??

From the looks of the parts, I'm guessing they are going to sell by the pile/pallet.  Guess the guys who like to spend all winter re-selling on eBay will do well.

Wrote them a letter explaining that he could make more by selling by the piece.  We'll see what he has to say back.

Knowing the George auctioneers from past experiance, They sell by giving high bidder choice on the pallet and as many items you want times the high bid. Then they start the bidding again on the same pallet till all the valuable stuff is gone and then they sell the rest of the skid for one money.
