I finally finished my 1953 CA restoration. Feel free to look at the following link for my pictures. I had hoped to get it done for Hutch to show off my step but better late than never. Enjoy and thanks for looking. Mike Noonan

Looks Great. All's that needed is a 2X14 snap couple plow so you can enjoy the sound of the engine working.

Thanks guys for all the great comments and Greg, I do have a restored 2x14 plow and will be using it on the CA at our club plow days soon. I'm very excited about that. Bob, I used Google's Picasa this time and it seemed to work fairly easy. You and I did give it our best shot though at Hutch but sometimes when an expert wonders by, you have to let em use their magic. Thanks again guys, Mike Noonan |

Mike, Can you tell me where the line from the traction booster gauge hooks into? I have one to put on my '51 CA.

One GREAT JOB!!!
Mike, You will have a very enjoyable day when you plow with this unit. One of the best plowing tractors I sold. Properly set up the CA will pull the plows with no problem.
Again, GREAT JOB!!!
Good Luck!

Jim, There is one of the pictures showing the remote electrical connector that is mounted to the PTO shield. The picture is 8 of 18 and the file name is P9110138.JPG. Well anyway, the tube from the traction booster connects to the bottom of the remote hydraulic unit. You can see the tube coming into a right angle brass fitting. The fitting comes out of the bottom of the remote hydraulic unit. There is also a hydraulic hose and another tube coming out of the remote unit. If this doesn't make sense, send me another note. Thanks, Mike Edited by mnoonan-NEWI - 14 Sep 2011 at 4:14pm |

2 thumbs up. I like a restored tractor that has a starter to have a complete battery box. So many don't. Also you took the time to use the original style hose clamps. Steering and tie rods got new boots and I even noticed the muffler has the bottom bolt installed.....nice!
Did you leave the cultivator braket on for transport tie down spot? Edited by wkpoor - 14 Sep 2011 at 7:25pm |

wkpoor, Thanks, they are 2 brass bolts holding the muffler. On the cultivator, I just like having it on to display the tapered pins plus I do have the complete cultivator that I plan to restore after the post hole digger that I am working on now. And again thanks to all for the kind words. Mike Noonan
