Got one yesterday. Thought we were ready. Moved furniture, pulled fridge out, took interior door down. Guys couldn't get the old fridge through the door. I ended up pulling a 3/4" piece of trim off and they got it. Crazy thing is that fridge went through that door 14 years ago. Anyone else have this problem ?Thanks

Yeah Dennis, it was a new one for me. Oh well, a new piece of trim and it'll be good.

Did you take the door(s) off the fridge?
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Lars beat me to it...

FWIW  I paid $75 to have new fridge delivered,  1st week of Jan 2000. Wife thought I was nuts, but I said MY money, MY decision. BEST $75 I spent. guys had to remove 2 doors, + the fridge 'french doors' to get it in, after coming up snowy/icy steps and deck.
sometimes it's better to pay the pros !

Oh yeah, the fridge doors came off. I wasn't home 14 years ago. Wife said that they just shoved it through the door. Guys Wed were more cautious I guess? I did tip them $20 each, they earned it.Should also say there was a delivery and take old one fee. Think $50 each. Thanks

Funny side of this issue!  I got a new frig. though the summer.  2 guys brought the new one.  Neither spoke English, one spoke VERY few words of English.  Carried the new one in, no trouble.  Went to pick the old one up to carry out, and at about the same time, both said "Oh S#8T"  there was much more weight to it!  Funny they knew 2 words??  lol
