Replacing the head gasket on my little G.  There are 2 different lengths of head bolts.  Can anyone tell me where the longer ones go?  The parts book shows 6 long ones were used, but does not show their location on the head.

Many thanks!

Can you not stick a wire down the holes to see where the long ones go?

Looking at the parts book I have it looks like the longer ones go in between the cylinders and the shorter ones around the perimeter.
Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!
