into PEX(3/4”), with cpvc. I don’t have a pex crimper, or any pex tools for that matter. Never worked with pex before. This will be a hot water extension from bathroom supply to laundry room. Or, would I be better off using pex, and getting the crimping tool, and stuff. The pex in the home is the blue(cold) and red(hot) TIA.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Shark bite fitting will easily connect the 2 . Be sure and use the plastic insert that comes with the fitting on the pex side . You don't need it on the cpvc side.

forget the CPVC... nothing but problems when it get OLD and BRITTLE, or froze... the PEX works great... I have a crimper and go that route.. Have used a couple shark bits and they are easy..

When we had our second well put in at the farm the guy told me he never uses PVC anymore. Everything he does is PEX because of its ease of use

I've not had any problems with CPVC getting brittle with age myself but it's never ran where it can move other than normal thermal expansion in the hot water lines. Replumbed my house complete in 1990 replacing the old galvanized steel piping then and I've had to modify the lineset for new water heater installs four or five times since for new appliances.
Floor heat in my shop is PEX and about 25 years old without problems I know of, but it's under 8" of concrete so kinda hard to see.....
