Hello I’m looking for a left hand tie rod end for my standard ac 160 I understand they are no where to be found however I’ve heard of guys who have used one from a parts store and welded it to the old tie rod after going to a couple parts stores they are no help as to finding a tie rod end close to the size I need I was wondering if anyone on here had suggestions on one that might work thanks.

if your going to do it yourself, your going to need to figure out the thread diameter and thread pitch , and left hand thread... then cross reference on a chart.. Is it METRIC or ENGLISH thread.. etc.


Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I replaced two a couple months ago.  I had to go to two different auto parts stores to finally get them.  The parts boy and I went back and just started comparing them till we found one that would work.  I took my old one with me.  The one I used was Duralast FA2101.  I got mine from Autozone but can be crossed to other brands. I also saw it online.  My tractor has power steering and the model is spelled out "one sixty"  Hope this helps.  Might pick one up at local store and make sure it fits yours.

I use Case IH part # K207722    cut old one off drill hole weld in or tap threads I did 12 that way

72074176 is the wrong one ha. For different style front end.
