Has anyone had any luck with the new reproduction radiators for a D10-12? I am not sure there is a radiator repair shop open around here anymore. Thanks, Tracy

I replaced the radiator in my 1965 D10 with an aftermarket I think I got it from Amazon. It works well, fit was ok, had to tweek the sheet metal a little to get it to fit. Cost to recore the original in my area was way to expensive.

The grill shell will not fit over some of the aftermarket ones that are advertised to fit B C CA D10 D12. Some are sold a OEM quality, but cost more. https://www.ebay.com/itm/284299843570?hash=item42319757f2:g:MikAAOSwVbliF9hY&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAsK1o%2BMOc%2FB0nOZ2dFn5wcNP7Y3iXyFHyGJEHzBf51%2BmzfKgyTk0Pq3vBf28OMSnr5ONOOVn8%2FG9ca%2FJUD97ZSdMzvaCcYZzmQJypfwndLaj7PNrUqkLtD9vaSltj5EX8CNsDxmb3FizkabhcZLCVLqMzNGTp%2FsVNtnYUg%2F4PxPs4bQVclI1%2Fr8o4hi4RdojHf24A4dE%2F6SYo0cvbIJ4iAA9pIN2xT11lBlLBPq6QjH5Y%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_SKzOTzYA

I bought a new one for my WD45 12 years ago. The overflow tube was wrong. I had to cut a slot in the shell to make room. The new one just had a spot on the neck to connect a rubber hose to instead of the original smaller steel line. So pay attention to that.

I will try to get mine fixed. Called a couple of places said they could re-core it. We will see when I get time to get it off. Thanks, Tracy

I had a D15 radiator recored by Rock Valley tractor years ago.
I bought an aftermarket radiator for my D14, and I had to cut the fan opening. It was diamond shaped not round. Not much help on a D10 or D12 other than I think you are hit and miss on a reproduction I'd go to YTMAG or Steiner's If I bought one. I tried to find the best deal on my D14, and it wasn't a deal. It did work though. |

Think for yourself and be your own expert. Be willing to change your mind; however, willingness to change your mind doesn’t mean that you will. Blindly following any path is the pinnacle of insanity.
